Hilly Fields Midsummer Fayre: Sponsorship, Programme adverts and Prize donations

Hilly Fields Fayre is a longstanding, successful tradition enthusiastically supported by families and people of all ages from our community. Usually attended by well over 5,000 people, there is a wide range of entertainment, activities and stalls on Hilly Fields, which attract the whole family.

We produce a programme for the event that contains all the key information for those attending the Fayre – a schedule of the day’s events, a Fayre map, competitions, and Prize Draw prizes. You can explore the 2023 programme here. 6,000 copies are printed and distributed locally, FREE, before and during the event.

This is a unique opportunity to promote your business and reach a huge number of households in the Brockley area. There are three individual options: Sponsorship, programme advert, and donation of a Prize. Any one, or a combination of several may be the best business option for you. See details below.

We are extremely grateful to local businesses for their generous support. Every penny of the money raised via these options, along with our Tea & Cake and BBQ stalls and Stall & Catering fees, goes towards putting on the Fayre and funding Brockley Society’s ongoing projects. NB: The application deadline for all of the above options, including submission of relevant artwork and payment is Sunday 12 May 2024.

Sponsorship

We are hugely grateful to local businesses and organisations for sponsoring and partnering with us. Without their generous support it would not be possible for us to offer as many attractions at the Fayre.

Headline Sponsor. You will be listed as a Headline Sponsor on the front cover of the Fayre programme with a full-page advert (inside front or back cover). Cost: £1000

Standard Sponsor. £500 Sponsors will be listed on the cover with a half-page advert (inside back cover).

Both Headline and Standard Sponsors will be mentioned regularly over the main Fayree PA system.

Programme Adverts

We produce and distribute around 6000 free copies of the A5 size, full colour programme. These are distributed throughout the Brockley area in the weeks leading up to the Fayre, and at the Fayre itself. You can explore the 2023 programme here.

Options and costs for ads are as follows:

• Full page: £240
• Half page: £120 (either landscape or portrait format)
• Quarter page: £60
• Eighth page: £30

Prize Donation

We hold the Prize Draw at 4.30pm in the Main Arena of the Fayre, directly after the hugely popular Dog Show. Individual Prize donors are named over the PA system as the draw is made and winning ticket numbers announced. Prize donors are also listed in the Prize Draw double page spread of the programme (see pages 16 and 17 of the 2023 programme).

Prize Draw tickets are sold for £1 each by volunteers on the field, and at he Brockley Society stall.
