The Brockley Society has run a number of conferences and festivals over the years, exploring a broad range of topics from new-build renovations to tackling inequality and modern urban design.

Brockley Festival of Ideas for Change, 2016
The inaugural festival brought together a fascinating range of speakers, almost all with a local connection, to consider how to achieve a more peaceful and equitable future and positive change in our community.
Brockley Festival of Ideas, 2017
In November 2017, we held our second Festival, again celebrating our great community strength, and exploring some of the big issues of our time. New perspectives considered everything from housing and inequality to food production and taking action in our communities.
Innovation and Conservation, 2017
This free event sought to increase awareness and understanding of how to protect and enhance our neighbourhoods through good urban design. Both through protecting what we already have and creating innovative new solutions and designs.
Conservation: Legacy and Innovation, 2023
Celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Brockley Conservation area and Brockley Society, this conference examined how the area has evolved during its first 50 years, and the priorities and challenges it faces in the future.
