Venue: Lucas Vale Primary School, SE8 4QF (access from Lucas St or Tanner’s Hill). Local resident Jane Hearn will give a brief presentation about the fabulous online Prefab Museum ('Celebrating Britain’s post-war prefabs and their residents') which she co-founded. Locally, dozens of prefab dwellings were erected on Hilly Fields in the immediate aftermath of the Second World War.
