Open Meeting: A celebration of Lewisham Way Youth & Community Centre
Free event; all ages welcome. Bring your memories and photos! For over 40 years, from 1973 until 2016, Lewisham Way Youth & Community Centre provided a safe place for black young people to come together: a place of refuge and joy during the 1970s, 1980s and beyond. A commercial building now, but with a history worthy of celebration. Join us to salute and celebrate the Centre’s vital role as part of Lewisham’s cultural heritage for the Borough of Culture 2022.…
