Seniors Gardening Club begins
Thursday April 12, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 12:30 pm
Breakspears Mews Community Garden is an oasis of peace, quiet and togetherness. During spring and early summer we run a regular drop in Senior Gardening Club for older people. There will be 8 sessions: every Thursday from 10am to 12.30pm, starting on Thursday April 12th and running until Thursday May 31st. We will provide gardening tools, seeds, tea, coffee and biscuits.
All Seniors are welcome: no gardening experience required, and no need to book. You can come along to all sessions, some, or just one. We will provide gardening tools, seeds, tea, coffee and biscuits. Try to bring some gardening gloves if you can (cheap gloves can be bought in the Lewisham pound shops!), and remember to wear appropriate footwear as it can get muddy and slippery. Please mention the sessions to your elderly friends and neighbours, and we hope to see you there! NB: In the event of heavy rain, sessions may be cancelled.
To find out more, visit our full webpage, contact us by email… or just come along!
Access to Breakspears Mews is via Ashby Road, SE4 1UW, or from the rear of St Peter’s Court, 29-31 Wickham Road, SE4 1NE.
