Hilly Fields Summer Fayre 2022

Saturday 25 June 2022

12 noon – 5pm

Following the hugely successful return last year after our enforced year off, we are looking forward to a huge  afternoon of outdoor entertainment for the residents of Brockley and beyond.

Less than 2 weeks to go now!

We still need volunteers to help out on the day!!

The more of us there are, the easier and safer it is for everyone.

Find out more on our dedicated Volunteer page.

Stall applications

Applications for General Stalls, are still open – but not for much longer! These are for Bric-brac, Community groups and services, Food-related (cold food, and drinks) , and Art & Crafts. To apply, please read the General Stall Information Sheet and then complete and submit our General Stall Application Form by email (details on the form). The deadline for all applications is Monday 20 June 2022. Please note that Arts & Crafts stalls in the Marquees are no longer available.

We are no longer accepting applications for Catering Stalls or Alcohol outlets. If you were hoping to run such a stall, we apologise: space is limited. But please do try applying next year!

We will be taking delivery of our printed programme any day now! Look out for copies at local businesses, and we will be handing them out outside local train stations, schools and other busy locations between now and the Fayre on Saturday 25 June. To explore a PDF of this year’s edition, click here – or on the cover image below. If you can spare an hour or two to help distribute them, please see our Volunteer page – and make contact via our [email protected] email address.

Volunteer at the Fayre

We need more volunteers than ever to help out with organisation during both the run-up and on the day itself. Please do consider joining us: the more of us there are, the easier and safer it is for everyone! Find out more on our dedicated Volunteer page.

Prize Draw

The generosity of local businesses means we have hundreds of pounds-worth of Prizes to win this year. To be in with a chance, purchase your £1 tickets at the Fayre from our on-field vendors in pink HiViz jackets, or come and find us at the Prize Draw booth near the Brockley Society Tent. The funds we raise are used throughout the year on Brockley Society’s activities including our printed newsletters, Open Meetings, and special events such as Open House weekend and the recent Brockley and Lewisham Literary Festival. To find out more about what we do, please see the homepage of this website, and pages 6&7 of the programme.

The themes for the ever-popular cake decorating, recycled art and vegetable modelling competitions will be available here soon. Free badge for every entry!

To whet your appetite for the return of this hugely popular event, explore galleries of photos of the 2019 Fayre and the 2016 Fayre. You can also watch this fabulous short film put together by the folks at Aloha Films London.

See you on June 25!
